There are probably better things that I could be doing with my time other than watching the OC with a friend but I suspect only a few of them would be more fun.
We starting re-watching the OC last night and two episodes in I am hooked. Again. It’s a terrible addiction. Two episodes in I wanted more. I didn’t want to go home. I wanted to watch more of the OC.
You may be wondering: why oh why, given all of the tv ever created have you decided to re-watch the OC?
I know, I know. Hear me out.
I read an article about it. (Oh and if Ira Glass from This American Life likes it how bad can it be for me?!)
The same day my friend A. emailed me this piece on an OC drinking game. I couldn’t stop laughing and sent her a link to the piece I’d just read.
It was then that we made a pact. Once a week we’ll meet to watch the OC. We started last night with salads, calzones and glasses of wine. Only we’re not playing the drinking game. We’re not in college anymore. We know better.
Season one has a whopping 27 episodes so we’ve got our work cut out for us. An Oh, what fun it’s going to be.
Oh wow. I watched the OC when I was in high school and you were away at college. MoM may have even watched it with me. Have you seen it all before? It gets wacky in the middle, if you make it that far! I assume Adam Brody is still pretty adorable even after all this time.
@charlotte I watched nearly the whole thing when I lived in DC. I am just not sure that I watched the last season.
I never loved it.
