This is just to say that the metro seems to be open all the time recently. Yep. It’s still a huge hole in the ground. Even though I did hear recently that the metro supposed to officially open in February/March but here’s the thing, it seems to be open already. Well not that you’re going to catch the metro from Mladost 3. No you’re definitely not going to be able to. For some reason, these days no one seems concerned enough about on site security to lock up the fence surrounding the hole making the hole well–open to the public. Kind of.
I’d like better fence-age (that’s like signage) around the metro-hole but then again I am an American and I like fences and for the record I like signs too.
There are a lot of things I’d like like a different name for the hole. Mladost 3. Pu-sh. I think not.
I still hate that the metro is named Mladost 3 when it’s clearly in Mladost 1A but I’ll get over that. Heck, every time I walk by the hole I find myself thinking: I can’t wait until my metro is open. Yes-sir, my metro. I am hoping that I’ll never have to call it Mladost 3 if I train the people in my life early enough with phrases like “my metro,” “my metro stop” and “take the metro to the end of the line and get of at my stop in Mladost.” And I guess push come to shove I can always refer to it as “the stop past Mladost 1″!!
